Rainy Sewing Day

Rainy days and sewing seem to go so well together. First I had to get some dishes out of the way. I don't recommend sewing in your kitchen/dining room, but if that's all you have, then it is what it is. It was a joy to iron strips of fabric and then set my cold hands on the warm material. Then I pieced 6 different prints together. One had frogs, several had polka dots, one had diamonds, and one had a shape like a lozenge popular in Googie architecture. All I have to make now is the waistband, but I'm waiting for some measurements. Fun.
