New Cartoon Blog and Crocheting a Snood

Yesterday and today I've been working on a cartoon series. I've been drawing cartoons my whole life but have never figured out a way to show them to the world until now. I decided it deserved it's own blog here: http://pigglewigginscartoon.blogspot.com/

I also started a new snood in gold woolease  yarn. I thought it would be good to put some autumn items into my Etsy shops. The year is sure going by fast. I can't believe summer is ending already.

What Is This Thing?

It bugs me to be sitting in front of the TV with empty hands. So while I watched the second half of Peggy Sue Got Married, I grabbed a crochet hook and some red Woolease yarn and started designing something. At first it was looking like a teddy bear, but then I thought it would be cool to make a mouse. Then for a minute there it looked like a tiny top hat. We shall see where this ends up.Then the movie ended and I crocheted through an episode of vintage Star Trek. After that I was partway through a bicycle race on the sports channel when I decided my hands and eyes needed a rest. I'm about done with the head and body but left it open for the stuffing. Tomorrow hopefully I'll do legs, arms and ears if my hands aren't too tired.

Crocheted Scarflette

While I was sitting at my craft booth Sunday I made this scarflette. I rather like the way it turned out and will get it listed in my Etsy shop soon. It has 3 buttons to hold it on, and it has a rippled edge. Perfect for foggy mornings and concerts in the park at twilight. The yarn is Woolease. I love that yarn.
