Go See Alice

Today is going to be an exciting day. My boyfriend is off to Riverside to teach someone how to make arrows. That gives me the day free to go see Alice (the movie) finally. I hope I can catch the first show of the day because it's the least expensive. I've been waiting about 2 months to see this movie. Haha.

Recently I got the leather shoes my friend in Bulgaria made for me. I'll be taking photos of those as soon as I wet them and let them form to my feet as she recommended. She is so generous. She also sent us two beautiful hand tooled leather pouches. I love leatherwork. I know how expensive and time consuming it is to make.

Witchiness Isn't Just for Halloween

Today I decided I want to live my life like a living storybook. I got the idea from the trailer for the soon to be released film based on Where the Wild Things Are. Why shouldn't we fill our lives with all the magic and zaniness we can find? I was off to the movies to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. So I took these witchy photos before I went. Also, I've been meaning to make some original witch hats for awhile, so now I am suitably motivated. Yay.

I spent most of today working on a vlog video for youtube. Hope you enjoy it. The music was a collaboration between myself and John Chafe. I wrote the lyrics and he did the revisions and wrote all the music and sings all the songs.

Twilight Cross Stitch

After seeing a cross stitch artist on Flickr and seeing the movie Twilight, I am off on a new cross stitch project using a quote from the vampire movie. It's navy thread on Aida cloth.
