Corn Husk Dolls
I found these directions for making cornhusk dolls and I'm looking forward to trying it, since we have 4 ears of corn in the fridge. I was surprised that you dry the husks first. Then you soak them in water to make them supple again. If you've ever made yarn tassle dolls it's very much the same idea. This would be a good project for homeschoolers because it's inexpensive and teaches about Native American culture.
