Story of the Stone
I truly am having a run of bad luck. After sending a special stone to be cut for the handle endcap of my dagger, the artist finally finishes it and mails it to me. I open the box, and the contents are gone. What I held in my hands were two pieces of box. After contacting the artist, he said the box was all one piece when it left his studio. Someone took a knife or razor blade, cut the cardboard, took out the contents and taped it all back together sometime between when it left his place in Kansas and arrived in my place in CA. Meanwhile, the blacksmith has been waiting on the stone for a month and will now have to wait even longer.
